Professional Development Day Vacation Camp
Breakwater Enrichment Center offers childcare to meet your needs during Breakwater School and select Portland Public School professional development days. Join the Breakwater Enrichment Center team for a fun-filled day of playing, learning, and exploring both on and off of Breakwater’s campus!

School Break Vacation Camp
Breakwater Enrichment Center offers week-long* vacation camps during school breaks in February and April. Camps are designed to meet the developmental ages and interests within their specific age bracket. Please read the school break vacation camp sections to learn more about our offerings!

February Vacation Camp
No camp on Monday, February 20th (President's Day).
Winter Wonderland Adventures! | Open to all students in grades K-6
During this Winter Wonderland Adventure Camp, we will be venturing out to explore Maine's beautiful wintry landscape! We will spend part of our days off-campus engaged in a medley of winter activities such as sledding, hiking, ice-skating, and fort-building (weather permitting). We will pair our days with various activities on Breakwater's campus. During the on campus portions of the day, students will have the choice between art activities, science experiments, rock climbing, and more snowy games on our playground. Each day will conclude with a closing circle to share appreciations while sipping hot chocolate.
April Vacation Camp
No camp on Monday, April 17th (Patriot’s Day)
Nature and Animal Camp | Open to all students in grades K-6
Get ready to adventure outside this spring! We will be jumping into a week full of outdoor and nature based adventures, field trips, activities, and crafts! In the morning, students will head off campus (*weather permitting) for a field trip! We will spend the other half of our day doing nature and environmentally friendly hands-on learning such paper making, nature based art, outdoor free play, group games, and more! Each day will be a new and exciting experience. Strap on your spring boots and jackets and get ready to celebrate outdoor adventure by heading out into the open air with Breakwater Vacation Camp!
